Jujitsu is the Japanese martial art that incorporates the striking and kicking of karate, the grappling, constricting and pinning of Judo and the blending, joint locking, and throwing of Aikido. Jujitsu was taught to the Samurai as the empty-hand back-up art to their extensive weapon systems. This is an especially gentle training art that enables anyone to learn self-defense techniques.
